Rev. Tressa Krenzer, RYT200, Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Teacher
Tressa is a Reiki Master practitioner and teacher. She started her Reiki journey volunteering alongside Spiritual Care at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. In this capacity she had the opportunity to work with patients when they requested Reiki . Her passion for energy work continues to grow since starting on this path 10 years ago. Upon moving to North Carolina in 2011, she practiced in her home until November 2019. The opportunity to open her own business presented itself and she moved into her space on Neudorf Road in the heart of Clemmons North Carolina. On August 1, 2020 she relocated her business along with New Hope Oriental Medicine. The mission is to provide a center of healing and well being.
Right around the time she started practicing Reiki she started incorporating yoga into her life. Because it affected her in so many positive ways, she began her yoga teacher training with Valerie Kiser at Sunrise Yoga studio in Clemmons. In 2016 she became a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Being an eager lifelong learner, she has added to her yoga training. She is a certified Curvy Yoga, Vedanta Yoga Nidra and Accessible Yoga teacher. She is an Ambassador for Accessible Yoga as well as a K10 Yoga Outreach Ambassador. In May she completed her Ayurvedic Health Counselor 1 program with California College of Ayurveda and has begun her Ayurvedic Clinical Specialist Program and hopes to have that completed in 2022. In July she completed her End of Life Doula Training with INELDA.
Outside of the studio Tressa loves to spend time with her husband Joe, 2 dogs Scoop & Bixby and 3 cats Bandita, Pneubie and Esme. She enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach, watching football, traveling, gardening and reading.
