Weaving the Web of Women’s Wellness is a retreat for connection, new beginnings, and healing.
Arriving on Monday, we will have a calm relaxing first day. There will be activities that will help us get to known each other. Weather permitting we will end the evening with a bonfire next to the Yummy Yurt.
Tuesday and Wednesday there will be yoga, meditation, workshops, hands on learning, nature walking, and much more.
In addition to all the great classes led by your hosts Tressa and Taylor, we will have special sessions with guest instructors. Please stay tuned!
Our theme is based around the New Moon, which is on May 11th. As a new moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle, it symbolizes new beginnings. People use the energy of a new moon to achieve their goals or start on a new project. They also reflect on their old goals and set new ones.
With this theme in mind we are creating workshops that we know you will love: Flower Essences and preparation, Wise Woman Tradition-making nourishing herbal infusions, intro to Ayurveda and traditional self care rituals, Herbal Extractions, and more.
We will also be doing a Cacao ceremony, power animal readings, learning self massage, yoga nidra with Reiki, and more.
We strive for connection, comfort, fresh insights, and love. This is a Sacred space, so we honor our shadow selves, while lifting our collective vibration!
We are so excited to welcome Tina Hopkins from Soul Fire Therapeutic Touch! She will be showing us how to self cup! Another wonderful self care tool!
Self cupping is best for: soft tissue & lymphatic massage, common muscle, joint & nerve pain, sports injuries, mobility, respiratory and immune support, plantar fasciitis, scars & adhesions, & more.
Sign up for a reflexology session with Kathy Rowe from Time To Balance in Clemmons, NC. All retreat participants get one session. You do not want to miss this opportunity!
One lucky retreat participant will win a custom made macrame piece from local artist Karla Tucker from Starfyre Knotworks!!!
“You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”
