Tailored to your mind and body!
Whether it is your first time practicing yoga or the 100th!
Here at Lovingkindness Reiki & Yoga our focus is on giving you the space to discover your true nature and build a relationship of loving compassion with yourself. Our private yoga sessions are more of a “work-in” that a “workout”. During our hour together we will build a personal practice that is designed specifically for you.
We have lowered the price of each in person session to $40/hr until the economy starts to recover. A package of 10 sessions is available for an additional savings for a total of $350. You can also book an online session, which will be done through Zoom.
Private yoga options or we will customize one for you in partnership!
Yin Yoga is excellent option for those that want to gently transform their connective tissue and joints in a deeply meditative way. This practice helps to cool down the nervous system and align our energy centers, which may lead to a more balanced mind and body. In this practice we stay in the poses for at least 3 minutes. If the floor is not an option, no worries! The same practice can be done seated in a chair or on a raised platform.
Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice where the body is completely supported with the use of props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and yoga straps. If you are new to props no worries! We will introduce them to you and show you how to use them. These items help you tailor the pose to your body. Once the body is truly relaxed that is when the magic happens, your nervous system settles down and the healing begins. We stay in these poses anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes at a time.
Gentle Yoga is perfect for all shapes, sizes, abilities and experience levels. In this practice you will experience a well rounded practice that will build strength, flexibility, balance, and peace of mind. We spend time exploring each pose and practice so we begin to connect to our body and find our way home to ourselves..
The heart of yoga is naturally accessible because it connects us to our very own heart beating within our own chest. We don’t need to buy anything or get anything to experience yoga. We simply need to find a way to turn our attention inward – to find the sound and texture of our breath as compelling as likes and shares on Facebook.
